This site has been created for the purpose of providing motor scooter enthusiasts a place to communicate with others that have an interest in scooters, as well as gather and share important information. The KSC site provides a forum for you to post and receive information about motor scooters, equipment, accessories, rules of safety, environmental efficiency, maintenance, rides in various areas of Kentuckiana, and gives you an opportunity to read stories by other scooterists and share your own. We welcome anyone with an interest in motor scooters, whether you own one or want to own one, regardless of size or cc's. We welcome you to post on the KSC Forum, get to know others that own various makes, models and sizes of scooters, schedule and/or participate in posted rides and join other scooterists at events and rallies. We are very excited about Kentuckiana Scooter Club and the recent and upcoming changes in Louisville, Indiana and the entire Kentuckiana region. Have fun, enjoy and see you in the wind!
THE ASHBYs INVITE KSC TO AN AUGUST KICK-OFF PARTY

Glen and Diane are hosting a party August 1, 2010 and Kentuckiana Scooter Club Members and their families are invited! THIS PARTY WILL ROCK! The party will get underway at 2:00pm, ending at 8:00pm. Glen's band, WEEKEND WARRIORS will entertain everyone there with their special selection of music. There will be corn hole, pool table and dart board competition available to whet your thirst for some game playing fun! The grills will be cooking up hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken and soft drinks will be provided. Check below for items guests are being requested to bring. If you are planning on riding, there will be parking available just for scooters. If you come by car, driveway parking is available 1st come, 1st serve. C'mon out everyone and enjoy this great summer party! If you are new with the club, what better way to meet other club members. If you have been around for awhile, it's time to catch up! Just come ready to have some fun. There is shade and the indoors are available, as well.

1.If your last name starts with A thru L, please bring dessert to share
2. If your last name starts with M thru Z, please bring a side dish or appetizer
3 . Bring a lawn chair, unless you like the grass
4. PLEASE RSVP VIA PM OR EMAIL TO GLENNBY. Glen will reply with directions on how to get to his house. He and his wife live in the east end, Blankenbaker/Shelbyville Road area. Be sure to indicate how many people will be coming along. See You There!!

Faith and Sean have been very involved with promoting and contributing to Kentuckiana Scooter Club events and activities. They helped out in so many ways at the After Party 2010, Celebrate Ride To Work Day and the Louisville Sustainable Living Fair. They enjoy both, riding and modifying their scooters...which is always on their mind! New scooter...helmet cam...new gear and Apples to Apples!

Meet-ups and Rides

It's that time of year! What awesome weather we have been having. On days like we have been having, "ya just gotta scoot", don't you? Why not join other Kentuckiana Scooter Club Members for some nice, scenic rides and some scooter chat. We will begin our Meet-ups Wednesday, April 7 at 6:30pm. Be sure to check the Louisville Rides and Meetings for the meet-up location. Many of the meet-ups will be "Pre-Ride" discussions. We will discuss the riding rules, destination and any other pertinent information about the ride for that evening. Some of the meet-ups will be to provide important information about upcoming events or to distribute new swag for the club. So, don't miss out! Be sure you join us on Wednesdays. Always, always keep check the Forum, to see if a meet-up/ride is scheduled or canceled. Don't forget, you can always sign up for Ride Alerts. We will be beginning those again, as well. Some have already started meeting up and riding on Wednesdays! WHOA! Let's get rollin!!!

In addition, we have members in many other areas of Indiana and Ohio that schedule rides. Venture out with us to Scooter Rallies in locations such as Indianapolis, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Columbus OH, Dayton, Wisconsin and many more. Join us at any posted Kentuckiana Scooter Club Meet-up's (always check seasonal schedules) and posted rides. Chat with other scooterists on the KSC Forum.
